What will I say
To keep you from being sad?
Will I find someone
To take your father's place?
How bad will you need
To see your father's face?
How will I explain
Your daddy doesn't love me anymore?
Will you be able to see
My heart's still sore?
Your daddy won't be around.
Don't be sad
Cause I'm here and I love you
I hope that makes you glad.
