Title: The Grey Death
My name at the moment is irrelevant, but if need be, you can call me Z. I am a traveler, I collect stories, I tell stories, and I create stories. This is a story of my creation, a story that is true.
My story begins in a town called Bergins. The date is of no concern, except that it was many years ago, thousands, maybe even millions. This town was a place of logic and cruelty. Nonsense was not tolerated, neither was imagination, but, upon this day, in this town, a beggar came up the street. A cart in his hands.
He cried out for help. Saying he was strarving needed rest, saying he would die if not helped. The people of the town watched him groan and moan, their eyes drifted onto his thin bones, his pale face, and his bleeding nose, but they said no word, their eyes drifted away.
This man knocked on every door of Bergin's pleading for even a crumb, but the people were cruel and had no sympothy, a woman with a child in her arms scolded him, ' You fool, how worthless you are, can't work even! I have children to feed you fool, I have no time for beggars!' She slammed the door in his face. The same happend with the others, scolding at him for such stupidity. One man even threatend to kick him out of town.
After the last house the man sighed. He snapped his fingers, and then, said in a voice that all the people of Bergins heard, ' From this day forth, every man, woman,child will be cursed. This town will be cursed with my spirit!I will ravage this town, every living being will be corrupted, their soul sucked out of their heart. I will curse you for your cruelty and for your selfishness.' And with that the man died.
