Not too Late
She kept going anyway. She wasn’t about to trust a silly little message scratched on a tree. There was still time to save Lea.
Then.......she heard a soft voice waaaaah waaaaah waaaaah.She followed the voice but when she got there it was not Lea it was a walkie talkie when she got close it said Itold you before ,you cannot save her. But she kept going .Then at the end of the day she found a clearing she saw a man holding Lea . The kidnapper!
Give her back! Yelled kayla.
Why should I? Said the man calmly.
Because she’s my sister. Said Kayla calmly but firmly.
I’m not going to give her back.He said. You got a bad score on the test.
Kayla rushed forward and grabbed Lea from the mans arms and ran away with Lea While the man chased her yelling and screaming. Only when they were safely on their own door step did she notice the big gash in Lea’s shoulder . She Had only been gone for a day. Thought Kayla but she was pale and sick. When they got back their mother was delighted. You’ve been gone for a week. Kayla you look awful did you sleep at all?
No I didn’t sleep. She replied.In her mind kayla was exploding with questions. Why had the kidnapper taken lea ? Why had she not noticed how long she had been gone?When lea got out of the hospital they had a big party. Lea was okay and nobody kidnapped her again.
