Title: Big Man's Loss
Big man’s loss
Big man’s loss came
As no surprise.
He hated love
You could see it in his eyes.
A puked up little money grubber was his life
Never had a kid
Never had a wife.
Cared only ‘bout ripping
Money from the pockets of his church
Claimed he had no job but
For those he wouldn’t search.
Said he’d hold for
A management posistion
Said he was full of great ambition.
But his bills were late
His cable was gone
His life started to
Disintergrate.
Now don’t ask me why
He do what he’d do.
He’s as sinful as a sailor
That whole thing ya’ll is true.
But Big Man said he not wanting charity,
But a lie is a lie
All lacking clarity.
Moved into that psycho house on
Deadman’s hill
The stories of that place ya’ll
Are told still.
Big Man in his greed
Would pay no less.
His hair was ragged and
His face was a mess.
To conserve money he risked
His own life
Took with him some food and his penknife.
Laid up in the old manor for hours on end,
Never understanding no
Never to comprehend.
Then a big ‘ole flash beam and
The old man rolled from his bed
In the process
He cracked open his head.
Laying their totally zonked for hours long,
Not seeing what was there,
And what he’d done wrong.
But when Big Man awoke to his surprise,
Something was looking at him with big grey eyes.
Lying on his back he gave a scream
Aliens all as white as cream
Approached him swiftly with their fingers
Hands all on their phazer triggers.
Big Man’s loss came as no surprise
He hated love
You could see it in his eyes.
Now the old looser does surely regret
Cheating the church and giving to get.
