Title: The Secret Passage
Chapter 1: The Discovery
One day while my little brother, Nick, and I were in the Florida room playing a game that I like to call 'The Pokémon Adventurers' Nick accidentally bumped into me. I was standing in front of a wall. I fell backwards into the wall as Nick said, 'Oops! Sorry, Crystal!' 'It's okay,' I replied. 'Hey! The bricks on the wall you fell into! Some of them disappeared!' Nick exclaimed. 'Cool,' I said. 'Let's go inside.' 'But Mommy & Daddy . . .' Nick started to say. 'Who cares about what Mum & Dad say? Now COME ON!'I whispered to Nick through clenched teeth. So we went trough the hole.
'It sure is dark,' Nick said. 'I know!' I said. I reached to my belt. To my surprise, when my hand touched my belt, I felt something tiny and round. I threw it. Then, flash! A glowing light appeared and faded. 'Pi pika pi,' said a voice. Pikachu, I thought, my heart racing. I caught what I then knew was Pikachu's Pokéball. I threw another Pokéball.
'Squirtle, squirt.' Squirtle, I thought.
Flash! 'Bulba.' Bulbasaur.
Flash! 'Pidji!' Pidgey.
Flash! This time the Pokémon that came out produced a warm, cozy light. 'Char!' 'Charmander,' I thought aloud.
'Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Pidgey, and Charmander.' I reached into my backpack and took out some Pokémon stickers. I put my Pokémon's pictures on their Pokéballs. 'Nick, let out your Pokémon,' I said. Flash! Geodude. Flash! Onix. Flash! . . . Vulpix. Flash! . . . DONUT!?!? Pikachu rushed over to the donut and ate it. 'Pika.' 'Did ya say something', Pikachu?' I asked. 'Pika,' Pikachu replied. No. Then a tiny Pokémon appeared. 'Pika,' it said. 'Cool,' I said. 'Nick, you catch it. ' 'Why?' Nick asked. ''Cause I already have one.' Nick reached to his belt, and plucked an empty Pokéball off of it. 'Uh, Pokéball, go,' he said. The Pokéball hit the Pikachu. It disappeared in a flash of light. The red and white ball shook, then settled. 'I caught Pikachu,' he said. 'Whoop-dee-doo.'
