Title: The Secret Passage (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2: New Bark Town
I reached into my backpack, pulling out twelve chocolate candy bars. 'You know what I'd like to know,' I said, taking a mouthful of candy bar, 'Ish ow ee ot al dis tuff.'
'What did ya say?' Nick asked.
I swallowed. 'What I'd like to know is how we got all this stuff.'
'Like what?' Nick asked.
'Candy bars, Pokéballs, Pokémon, backpacks, belts . . . you get the idea.' 'Yeah,' Nick said. We then set out of the cave. In about another half-hour, we were out of the cave. A girl came up to us and said 'Wanna battle?' Nick butted in. 'YES! How can I refuse?' he shouted. 'Good,' said the girl. 'And I won't believe you if you say that girl is related to you.' 'Why?' asked Nick. 'Too ugly to be your sister.' I said, 'Well, you're not too much of a princess yourself.' Leaving her to think about that comment and battle Nick, (Yeah, she lost!) I set off across a pond just outside the cave. When I was across that lake, I was in a cute little town . . . a Pokémon lab and a few houses. Plus a sign that said 'Welcome to New Bark Town.' I went inside the house closest to the pond. A lady in the living room of the house looked startled.
'Why, hello! Might I ask, who are you?' she said, probably knowing I was a Pokémon trainer by the yellow ear with a black tip that appeared around my leg. 'Crystal.' 'From . . . ?' 'A different planet.' 'Where'd you get your Pikachu?' 'It's a long story,' I said, remembering how hard it would be to believe how I got my Pokémon. 'Okay,' said the lady. 'Silver?' 'What?'a boy about 11 years old called back. 'Pokémon trainer wants to stay again.' 'Someone with the same dream as me comes to take over my bedroom again,' Silver mumbled. He stormed into his living room, not bothering to look up from his Gameboy Color. He was the rudest kid I had ever met.
