I slowly walked toward Prof. Oak's lab. It was my first day, and Prof. Oak, even though I was only ten, was letting me learn to catch pokemon early. The sun tanned my skin perfectly, the wind whipped my long black hair into my pale teal blue eyes, and I saw Prof. Oak's lab. I smiled, I already knew wich Pokemon I was going to pick. I ran up the steps to the door, but before I knocked, prof. Oak opened the door. I smiled. 'Hello Prof. Oak,' I said happily. Prof. Oak smiled and replied, 'Well, nice to see you Andy. Have you picked a pokemon yet?' 'Yes sir! I want Charmander!' I exclaimed excitedly. Prof. Oak nodded and led me inside, talking to me as we walked through amazing Pokemon filled rooms. I stared at each one, only listening with half an ear, as he said, 'Now, Andy, you understand the rules about caring about your pokemon?' 'Yes sir.' 'Now, Charmander, that's a perfect pokemon for you. This one is special. He acts just like you, firey and mischevious,' Prof. Oak laughed, and handed me a Pokeball. I smiled, and ran toward the door, and called a, 'THANKS PROF. OAK! THANKS ALOT! SEE YOU LATER!' as I hurried out the door. I was going to have the greatest day of my life, learning to work with Charmander.
