Title: Going to the jungle
Going to the jungle
I took all my money and went over there
I bought a pair of shoes and one underwear.
The trip was long and very hard, too...
cause I ate 101 pizzas and I think I gave you two.
I took my dad and one Z.I.
the Z.I. went to the jungle and I know why.
The jungle was his home so we went there too
I forgot to mention the car which is new.
Then we found a hill so big that we thought it was jail...
but at the top we saw something that was white and kind of pale!
The thing was the king of the Z.I.s so...
I was forced to meet her! ''Oh no!''
But she said ''This not are home.''
It's Pluto Via Appia in Rome.
So we used our rocket to go in outer space...
we met three aliens and had a big race!
We blew up their ship and we won...
but the others didn't like what we've done.
They went to pluto faster then we thought
and burned down our house (it was very hot).
So we planted lots of trees and made a jungle to...
make a house and have food and we grew, grew, grew!
But then one day a tiger flew by
she gave birth to her babys with only one eye!
We didn't want to kill nature and we didn't want to be eaten...
we didn't want to scare them, we didn't want to be beaten.
So we picked up the tiger when it was sleeping...
and carried him to Mars when no one was peeping.
He never woke up and he's gone for now
but how was he feeling at Mars? How?
We'll never know and we never will.
If he's feeling sick we'll give him a pill.
Now me and my dad will go back to earth
maybe mommy is giving birth.
Ten, nine, eight we're going back home...
not to Mars, not to Rome.
Seven, six, five it's going to be fun...
not just for me but for everyone!
Four, three, two we're almost there...
and on my dads head is hair, hair, hair.
One, zero, home and moms got a baby...
dad says so, but I say maybe.
Now we're home we're safe and sound
and there is no tiger sitting on the ground.
There is no aliens burning down are house...
it is so quiet you could hear a mouse.
I see pluto through my window with all it's trees...
with no dogs and no yellow bees.
I'll ask my friend Mark if I could have some money...
I think he'll say ''No, but your funny.''
I would buy some pizzas if he said ''Yes''
but I don't think so. You try to guess.
Tomorrow is a school day so I need a good sleep...
first close the windows so no one can peep.
Tomorrow will be an adventure I can tell by the moon...
but I hope I don't get hit by a purple flying spoon!
A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
