Somethinig about the future,
That ties us to the past,
Lessons we thought we'd learned,
Times we hope will last,
Staring into the fog,
Of what will come to be,
Pictures that seem to jog,
My fading memories,
Looking into the hearts,
Of those around me,
Readmitting parts,
Others I allow to flee,
Memories...the sound echos through my head
Put my memories to rest...what's said is said,
