Title: Questioning the Truth

Trying hard not to question truth,
As it is said in the holy book,
Not demanding proof from my god,
To stand on the earth as it shook,

I scream in my head,
Don't question it,
It's surely true,
Just pray and sit,

How do I live my life,
In a way not begging for proof?
Not wanting to know more,
Not questioning the truth,

How do I know what's right,
When I question all I know,
That is positively true,
As prayers go to and fro,

One thing I know for sure,
Is that God is the only one,
Who you can count on all the time,
At midnight, noon, or dawn,

The truth of the matter is,
I must accept or reject all,
Otherwise what will I believe,
If I don't obey God's call?
