Title: The Secret Passage (Chapter 6)
Chapter 6: Ash, Misty and Brock
'Pika!' said Pikachu. 'Chu!' said another Pikachu. 'Krissy!' shouted Nick. 'Lemme catch it!' 'Only if you stop callin' me Krissy!' I shouted back. 'Sparky, Thunderbolt, now!' 'I'll take that as a yes,' I said sighing. Just then a voice said, 'Go, Pikachu!' 'You already sent out yer' Pikachu ya weirdo!' 'That was NOT ME!'shouted Nick. 'Pikachu, Thundershock, now!' said the voice. 'Piiiiikaaaachuuuu!' Another Pikachu. A big blast of blue electricity hit the brown Pokémon. 'Poké Ball, go!' the voice shouted, and the Pokémon disappeared into a red and white ball. 'I caught Sentret!' The voice. So that was a Sentret. Tears poured down Nick's face. 'My Pokémon!' he whimpered pathetically. The owner of the voice heard me shout, 'It wasn't yours, you nitwit!' Then a boy about Nick's age (10, 11) stepped in. 'Hi. I'm Ash,' he said. A girl with a Pokémon in her arms said, 'Hi. I'm Misty.' 'Why're you followin' him around?' I asked. 'He hasn't paid me for a broken bicycle,' she answered. 'Who's your other friend?' I asked, pointing to a boy a little older than me. 'Brock,' said Ash. 'Brock used to be the Gym Leader in Pewter City.' 'He has a weakness for pretty girls,' Misty whispered in my ear. 'I think he likes your friend.' I giggled. She was right. Brock was looking at Erika, blushing. And I thought I could see pink hearts popping out of his head like in a cartoon. But Pokémon is a TV cartoon. So where we in a cartoon? I didn't know, but at the moment I didn't care. We had to get to Professor Pokémon's house.
