There is never a day
That passes by
Without me
Stepping your way
But if there is ever a day
That I don't hear your call
Blessed are the angels
That whisper through my walls...
...That tell me you're ok
And everything is alright
To keep you warm in bed
And check on you through the night
Sweet kisses to the butterflies
That pull back your covers the very next day
To make sure you are at school
To make sure I do step your way
But if there is ever a day
Where I don't see you at all
Or the angels in my bedroom don't whisper through my walls
Or I don't hear from the butterflies that tuck you in at night
I will be there to check on you to make sure that you're alright.
