Title: The Idiotic Vampire
Hi! My name is Brooke McBeth. This is the story about when I met Bob, the idiotic vampire. Have a good time reading, and if you live by a graveyard, be sure to wear a necklace of garlic whenever you go out!
Josh Mott grinned. 'If you don't do it, I'll tell everyone in the neighborhood that you watch Barney!' 'But I don't!' I yelled. 'I know,' said Josh. 'It's called blackmail.' 'I know what it's called!' I yelled. 'Oh, okay. I'll go to the graveyard.' 'Gotcha. Meet me by Old Man Samson's headstone tonight at midnight,' said Josh. 'How do I get myself into these messes?' I asked myself.

I crept out of the back door. I snapped a leash onto my dog, Nikki's collar. She wagged her tail happily. I led her to the headstone where Josh was waiting. 'Great,' he said. 'Now hop up and down on one leg and sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' while holding your nose.' 'What the . . .?' I asked. 'What the . . .?' copied Josh. I looked in the direction he was staring. A large body wearing a black cape came up out of the ground. It's face was hidden. It lifted it's head. The thing had large fangs. 'Vampire!' shouted Josh, running as fast as possible back in the direction of his house. I stood there and waited to see what would happen next. 'I want to suck your mud!' shouted the vampire. 'Hi! My name's Bob! Nice to meet you!' 'Ditto,' I said, screwing up my face. 'Um, do you have any mud?' asked Bob. 'Sorry,' I said. 'But it's easy to make.' I ran home and filled up Nikki's water bowl. Then I came back and poured it on the ground. 'Thanks!' said Bob. He dropped onto the ground and quacked like a duck. He rolled in the mud. I stared. Then I led Nikki back home to where there were no vampires sucking mud.
