Title: Caitlin and Kay (part one)
When I am asked the question that fills me with dread I think about the events that led to it. The question is what happened when I went missing at the age of twelve. I have never told anyone but now I will tell you. My name is Caitlin, Caitlin the survivor.
It all started when the new neighbours arrived. They were from Austrailia they were called Greg and Sam they had a son about my age called Kay. I was out with my mate Cass who if I may say is the most odd person I know and is a great laugh. We had been shopping and I was walking home when I saw the van. I raced to the gate of my house and looked at the new neighbours.
Kay had grey hair styled to look cool. He had eyes that were so misty I could barely see his pupils and there was something odd about him but for the life of me I could not figure out what it was.
'Hi I'm Caitlin.'
'I am Kay, my Mum is called Sam, my Dad Greg.'
'Um..are you starting school on Monday? Is it the local school?'
'Yeah I better go! Well see you around.'
'Bye.'
I walked inside and began to cook some dinner. I cooked a chicken and vegetable pie.
On Monday I saw him and grinned but he looked away. There was a year seven dance which I was going to. I heard that Kay was going too.
When I got home I quietly did my hair in a french plait and put a pair of pink jeans on with a white blouse. I went to the dance and saw the shock of my life as I walked home tagging behind Kay when Kay went to the forest I called after him and then began to run and entered the cave he was in.
'What are you doing?'
'I could ask you that too.'
We stared at each over.
To be continued and Kay and Caitlin are trapped.
