You stole my heart right from my chest.
You never knew you where the best.
Now only ashes are left to burn,
But still my heart you can't return.
My mind always wanders over to you.
You stole my thoughts, now I feel blue.
Now I feel my stomach churn,
But still my thoughts you can't return.
And now my soul is laid to waste
Because you stole with so much haste.
From this a lesson you should learn,
But still my soul you can't return.
You stole my feelings right away.
Who should have known they were to stay?
Since I can't feel, I cannot yearn,
But still my feelings you can't return.
You stole my being, I'm almost no more.
Is that what you were looking for?
I'm empty, you could see right through.
You stole so much I live in you.
You thought I was no longer here;
I am but scarce, my existence mere.
You know why I am still alive?
Because your heart is where I thrive.
