Friends, oh so much fun,
If only I could have one.
If I could,
Why, I should.
But, if I hear,
With my ear,
Such thoughts I can not bear,
How will I know, which one not to snare?
As friends go, you see,
Some places I知 not to be.
If I am,
My heart will be squashed like jam.
But, why fear?
I値l figure out somewhere,
A person I can trust,
That will not treat me like dust.
I値l travel far,
To Mars.
I値l travel near,
To scare,
The enemy I cannot bear.
Then I値l fly,
Way up to the sky,
Maybe the birds will not lie.
But tell me,
Where is that friend I am looking for?
Why is it?
That people like to be mean.
Tell me!
You must know!
Why?
Well then, maybe you can tell me,
Who is it you would like to be?
Do you want to be,
Like a friend,
Who cares to make amends?
Or, are you the foe,
Who loves to throw a bow,
Right into the depths of my soul?
Are you the person,
Who put me here?
With all these dreadful memories,
That just was not fair!?
Or, are you the person,
Who was the best,
To be around,
And put me in your nest?
Are you like me?
Then come let us be friends.
So, people,
Friends or foes,
Just think,
Is your friend a friend?
Or maybe a foe?
Remember,
Don稚 banter,
In front of another.
So are you my friend,
Or are you my foe?
