Cassidy sighed. Why did this kind of thing always happen right after supper? She, her friends Britney, Amy, and Mike, and her little brother, Fred, were running like lightning through someone's backyard, avoiding destruction by a purple and yellow pinăta dragon. This sort of thing had happened before, though. They had made the dragon explode in some phone lines. But they didn't know if it would work this time. The dragon had somehow revived itself, and now, with a large bandage on it's side and a full stomach, he was chasing them across Hanover once again. The kids ducked into a garage and shut the door on the dragon. Mike looked at the door. 'Not gonna hold something like that for long,' he said. 'Forget it,' said Britney. 'We've got to make it explode in the phone lines again,' said Cassidy. 'Then go to the fire station and get them to spray him again. Then we can feist on his sugary contents again!' Fred groaned and put his hand to his mouth. 'Just the thought of eating that much candy again makes me wanna throw up!' he moaned. The garage door glowed a bright red. Amy grabbed a garden hose and aimed it for the door. It slowly melted. 'Ready, aim and . . .' said Amy. The dragon's face appeared. 'FIRE!' shouted Mike. Amy sprayed the dragon's eyes with a stream of water. As the dragon looked for the source of pain in his eyes, the kids ran to the fire station and got the firemen to come to a phone line. Then they went to the dragon and teased him until he followed them. The kids darted back and forth from one side of the lines to other until the dragon couldn't move at all. Then the firemen blasted the dragon. His bones flashed every other time, then ka-BANG!! The dragon exploded! People from far and wide come to rid the town of his sugary contents. Oh, happy day!!
