Title: The Flying Mail.

Everyone loves to hear the postman knocking at the door, especially when he has a letter for you.
Bertie Badger was the woodland postman. He had to walk a very long way to deliver his letters all over the wood. One day as he was sitting on a log having a rest and a cup of tea, a pigeon flew down to join him.
'Would you like some help?', he cooed. Postman Badger laughed and gave the pigeon some of his sandwich. 'You're a bit too small to be a postman.'
Off flew the pigeon and very soon came back with some of his friends. When they saw Bertie Badger's sack they set to work straight away. The smaller birds sorted the mail while the bigger birds carried the parcels between them. Postman Badger watched in amazement. The birds came everyday to help deliver the mail on time and Postman Badger made extra sandwiches for them all - just to say thank you.
