Title: The Secret Passage (Chapter 16: The Radio Tower)
Brock had unfolded a map and was looking at Goldenrod City. 'Well, according to the map, Alakazam Avenue is just a block away,' he said. So we came to the Radio Tower, a tall black radio spire. We walked inside the doors. A lady stood at the counter. 'Welcome to the Radio Tower! You may explore any floor you'd like!' she said. We walked to a man who was also behind the counter. 'Howdy!' he said. 'Would you like to try for the Lucky Number Show today and win a prize? This week's Lucky Number is 34469.' I walked up and handed him my Poké Balls, including the empty one. 'One moment please,' said the man, as he set my Poké Balls on a tray hooked to a computer. He pressed a button on the computer, which started to whir. The computer made a noise, and the man looked genuinely startled. 'Today's your lucky day! All of these Poké Balls have the correct ID numbers!' I nearly fell over backwards. 'All six?' 'Yep!' he said. 'As a prize, you get six Master Balls!' 'What's a Master Ball?' I asked. 'It's a Poké Ball that never misses the Pokémon and always catches it,' answered Ash. 'Cool!' cried Nick. Everyone else tried for the Balls, and, really, really amazingly, won. We went on to the next person, who was the keeper of Radio Cards. 'If you answer all questions correctly, you win a Radio Card for your Poké Gear!' said the girl, holding up a Radio Card. 'Okay,' said the girl. 'Question one: True or False? Magikarp can learn Surf.' 'False.' 'Yes! Question two: True or False? Slowpoke has been classified as the dopey Pokémon.' 'True.' 'On a roll! Three: True or False? Kurt, the Apricorn maker in Azalea Town, makes Lure Balls out of Yellow Apricorns.' 'No.' 'Good!' said the girl. 'Here's your Radio Card. Now you can tune in to our cool Radio Programs!' 'Thanks!' I said. I put the Radio Card into a Card Slot on my Poké Gear. Then we went to the next floor. I put on my radio. The voice said, 'Hi! Buena here! Today's password! Let me think. It's . . . Viridian City! Come see me at the Radio Tower! I'll be waiting!' Then it turned to a song. 'What a coincidence!' I said, walking into the cubicle where Buena was. 'Wow!' she said when she saw us. 'That was quick!'
