Title: This moment that rages endlessly...

The ten-a-minute barbed-wire crown of thorns
How slowly the wood burns and burns
How rare and how desperate
This is the day we must pay for it

Fire-crisp, fire-faded awnings of limp paper,
it became a planet, i was no longer
but i was still standing and all was in danger
by meddling man, would he forbear?

There is no difference between night and day
and of the calendars that tear dark leaves away
there is no lack of light and singing limbs
that interwreather thing about the bones of Kings

The while the dark deeds move that gave the words
of jackals as tey score the shadowy sands
for these the pride od palaces, a tomb
the sculls of nomads echo in the gloom

This moment that only rages endlessly
is always the long oment of decay
and so drives the asid nail of the coloured pains
frailer than shells, or on those luminous wings.

Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
