Title: Friend?
Friend doesn't mean anything anymore,
It's merely someone I know,
Not the person who spends all my time,
Do my hostile feelings show?
Friend is a person who says hi in the hall,
Who talks to me sometimes,
Almost not at all,
Am I not good enough?
Being a friend isn't a part-time job,
It's a commitment to someone you know,
But some poeple don't understand this,
Will she become my foe?
But does this term apply to me,
Or others besides this one,
But really all that I can see,
That this fight has barely begun,
In 20 years I'll regret this,
I'm positive; I know it now,
But friend is a changing term,
Is she really my 'friend' now?
