Title: Brianna Porter: Face It, It`s Your Life (Part Two)
The tree didn`t look like the inside of an oak should. Instead of . . . oak stuff, there were buttons and knobs and switches. 'Where do we want to go?' asked Brianna. Alex was more confused than ever. 'Pokemon Land or Land of the Giant, Slippery, Man Eating Merdinosaurs?' asked Brianna. 'Pokemon!' yelled Alex. 'New Bark or Pallet?' asked Brianna. '. . . Pallet!' yelled Alex, after hesitating for a moment. 'Off we go!' yelled Brianna, pushing a green button labeled with Pallet, Kanto, Pokemon Land. All of a sudden, there were zooming through the space/time continuum. It was weird. A cow`s head on an elaphant`s body floated above them. Below them was the sky. Tiny squirells raced on a paintbrush. Brianna thought that she saw her friend, Mike, wave to them, but he had two heads. Brianna closed her eyes. She didn`t want to see much more. Then Alex yelped in fright. Brianna opened her eyes. She too let out a cry. Their mother was floating around them in circles, yelling, 'Clean the bathroom! Clean the kitchen! Clean the litter box!' She looked normal except for the fact that she had a mustache. Then they landed with a loud 'THUMP' on the sandy ground. 'Ouch,' said Alex, 'I landed on my head!' 'Hey!' yelled an unfamiliar voice. 'Are you guys okay?' Brianna sat up and looked around. This didn`t look like Virginia Beach, or any other beach she had seen. A thirteen year old boy was running toward them, followed by a thirteen year old girl and a ten year old girl. 'Are you okay?' asked the older girl. 'Yeah,' said Brianna. 'Fine, just fine.' 'Who are you?' asked the boy. 'I don`t think I`ve seen you around here before.' Brianna spoke up. 'I`m Brianna Porter, and that`s my brother, Alex Porter. He`s just turned ten, but he acts like a three year old sometimes.' The older girl smiled. 'I`m Tina Smith. Those two are my brother and sister, Chris Smith and Amy Smith.' 'Hi, Brianna, Alex,' said Amy. 'Hi, Tina, Chris, and Amy,' said Alex. 'Oh, where are we?' 'Pallet Town,' said Tina. 'Today`s the day that everyone ages ten and up, but under twenty, gets a Pokemon from Professor Oak.' 'Cool,' said Brianna. 'I think we`ll join you today . . .'
