Title: Chicklet! part *2*
Rory was a 13 year old girl.It was her first week at Algro high.She had two best friends.
They were Brendan and Alexa.
Rory woke up on a Monday. It was 9:06. She was late for school.The bell had rung six minutes ago and she was in a mad hurry.
Rory realised that her alarm clock was upside down. The real time was 6:09. She was happy because she was now early for school.
She staggered out of bed and across the lougeroom floor.She went tiredly into the kitchen and saw her parents waiting for her.'Is there something wrong?'She said hopefully,'WRONG!'shouted her dad,'are you crazy,of course there's something wrong!','Now dear,'said her mum 'don't go too hard on her,it's only her first time'. 'She was....'said her dad but as soon as he was about to finish there was a knock on the door.'Rory, you stay there while I go and answer the door,','but I'm here,said mum and I could.....'. ' No, it's a man's job. Go and do the housework or something wife.''That's the kind of thanks I get,said mum,I do everything around here and then I'm just another one of those wives who do nothing but houswork!'She screamed. Rory's dad's face was now turning red from anger.It looked like he was going to explode,'leave at once!'he said and the mother burst into tears and took in the car down the street. Rory was still standing near the doorway. Her eyes where burning.Her jaw was aching.She wished her parents wouldn't fight. Her dad then came back inside with a man Rory had never seen before.He was tall and slim.He had a ghostly white beard and his blue eyes twinkled in the sun light.
Rory still didn't know what she had done wrong. Then her father spoke,'Rory, this is your uncle.''Uncle!'screamed Rory,' How can he be my uncle?' 'Well, he's my younger brother,'replied her father.'it's obvious.'He said,'what am I in trouble for?'asked Rory,'be quiet you little...''That's how we should treat them now.'Said the man that was supposed to be Rory's uncle,'teach them the hard way,''I know what you mean John,they have to learn'.
