Title: Spirits of the Elements(chapter one)
The characters
Maya smiled as she sorted through the library shelves. She was a quiet subdued teenager who worked in the library. Her eyes were deep and enchanting like her character. She was serious and kind. Maya tossed her fringe. The weather in her town was getting higher.
Meanwhile a girl with blonde hair in a ribbon was sunbathing. Her name was Terri. Her tan was heavy her hair immaculate and her homework for college done? Yes to the first two but no to the third. Terri was a fashion freak! But her friend Halli a brown haired kind friend helped her out. Then there was Hermonie a quiet grey haired girl who was shy. But who can forget Mimi a leader of all. All had something in common. What?
The First Part
Maya grinned at her three mates Terri, Halli and Hermonie and Mimi. They were in the coffee cafe drinking low fat mocha lattes.
'So did you watch that film?'
'Uh huh.'
'Let's go to the park?'
'Sure.'
At the park Maya gasped at the lake, it was more beautiful then ever.
'So you are water?'
'What?'
'I am Joun. A scared element of discovery. i have discovered you are the new spirits. The power you have. Is that Mimi the wind? or Hermonie the metal or Terri fire. Or Halli wood.'
They were staring now.
'I am not crazy come to the woods at ten am tomorow. All shall be revealed. However as I am your tecaher I shall tell you what you are.'
'D..d..do!'
'You are part of an ancient heritage who had the power to control one element. They sacrificed a lot. All colour clothes except those of your element and hair colour dyed and cut. They could control the harmony of the element. Then Gracen the evil took an element Fear! Only now can you five have the power to regain peace. Oh late see you tomorow for infomation. Show me you're worthy. Style your hair to metal, water, fire, wind and metal. Wear only your element clothes. Bye!'
'Huh?'
'Let's do what he says. What can we lose?'
'Good Maya. Yeah I'm with you.'
'Me and Halli too.'
'I guess. see you tomorow. Um meet her so we don't miss each other.'
They nodded and confused set off.
