Title: The Bear Cave
'Whoa,' I said to my horse, Katie. We were gallopping through the woods, and jumped over the creek, which had no bridge. Katie slowed down to a halt. There right in front of me was a cave! 'I've never seen this cave here before, Katie. I guess it was because I have never been on this trail before. Maybe I should check this out?' I got off Katie and tied her to a tree so she would not wonder off.
When I entered the cave, I smelled a very bad smell.Then I heard a very low growl. I backed away a little bit. Then suddenly two bear cubs came up in front of me playing with eachother. I knew I had to get out before the mother came back because mother bears are very protective about their cubs.
So I went out of the cave and got back on Katie. We gallopped through the woods, jumped over the creek, and then I slowed Katie down, and we walked the rest of the way home.
