Title: Carried Away
On a cold summer day, I was exploring my neighborhood, looking for anything I hadn't observed before. I lived in Greenland. I tended to get carried away strolling a little outside of the neighborhood. I had never been outside of our neighborhood. I looked around, and saw an ice cave. I had only heard of these in books and school. I apprehinsively approached the cave, being cautious of anything that could happen. When I entered the cave, I observed gleaming stalagmites and stalagtites made of ice. I walked further and further, starting to get worn out by the minute. Finally, I turned a bend, and my eyes popped out at what I saw! It was a mine cart full of jewels! Diamonds, rubies, and sapphires as big as my fist! Then, I saw someone start to push the cart away. I darted after him, but the cart slowed him down. I tripped him, and he landed in the cart and slid back into the cave. I saw two diamonds and three rubies laying in front of me. I pocketed them. Then the ground started to shake. It was an avalanche. I sprinted out of the cave. The culprit was still in there; he must have gotton trapped. I ran home, and I hid my jewels.
