Title: Harry v Voldemorte(chapter five)
Dumbledore paced his office as the animagus Sirius lay in the chair still too weak. It had been two hours since Harry bought Sirius back from the rubble which Voldemorte had caused. Sirius had said two words before letting the Voldemorte take him into temporary darkness. The words? Riddle House.
Meanwhile someone else was pacing in their common room. He had been filled with so much rage. It was Voldemorte. He broke families like the parents Harry would never have and now the closest thing Sirius could at any moment die. Even the bitter Durseleys were taken too. Harry just couldn't take it any more. He snuck in the dormitory took a small rucksack. He filled it with food, drink and clothes plus he took Hedwig in her cage and his mini cauldron and potion kit. He held his wand in his cloak pocket and scribbled a note. He left.
Ron woke up and saw Harry's bed empty and his trunk ransacked then a note. Shaking he grabbed the note and called Hermione. She came in her slippers and dressing gown.
'What's the commotion? Where is Harry?'
'He ran away. Look.'
Hermione stared at the note which said.
Dear Ron and Hermione.
I can't stand it any longer. He shall take you next. If I lose you two I will have none so I have gone off. Don't worry I will be in hiding I took Hedwig and writing stuff so when I am in a good spot I will owl you. I hope Sirius gets better he is the closest to a parent I have. I am sure you understand.
Harry.
Hermione dropped the note and a silent tear fell down as she murmoured.
'He doesn't know enough spells. Oh Ron!'
'Hey it is okay. he'll be back.'
In the end they told Dumbledore.
'I had a feeling he would. I shall send you out now on a search of Hogsmeade I shall attend with the towns folk and check the other towns.'
They left silently. Ron could hear choking noises from Hermione. Ron sighed. Harry had been so mad he should have stayed with him. Guilt spread and Ron stopped himself as he checked the Shrieking Shack.
'Hermione where is the secret passage?'
'There. Look Harry.'
They ran up to the boy.
'Harry you idiot!'
'Go away.'
There was something in Harry's eyes unknown. Fear.
'Harry we’re your friends.'
'He'll come for you next.'
'Oh Harry we are strong united it is only when we seperate when we become one.'
'But..'
Harry was so worked up tears were squeezing their way out and Harry looked so small that when Ron and Hermione got him up and to Hogwarts he made no fuss.
