Title: The Boy That Dreamed: Part 1
Our story begins with a little boy called James. James lived on the beach with his mum, dad, and older brother-this making James the youngest in the house. Ah yes, the house. It was one of those new, modernized houses, made of orange sandstone. It was about fifty meters from the start of the beach.
James had orange hair-like his mother, fair skin (it was a bit tanned seems as he lived on the beach), hazel green, almond-shaped eyes and a broad smile which made lines appear on the sides of his eyes when he laughed. James had a skinny build and loved to dream. Sometimes he'd be off at sea- with pirates and swordfights, or out to lunch with the dustbunnies that lived under his bed. James and his brother, Max, went to 'Brandbury School For Boys' which was just up the road and around the corner.
Every afternoon James would come home, get changed and go to the beach. Sometimes just to sit on the sand and wait for something, or sometimes he'd explore the growth of trees and bushes that surrounded the beach.
' James, I wish you'd grow up sometimes,' his mother, Jane told him, ' And stop playing those silly imaginary games of yours. After all, you are nearly 14.'
' And he smartest kid in your grade...' his father Tom would add.
But James didn't care, he liked the way he dreamed things up out of thin air.
Except this one night when James was walking on the beach, a girl with brown hair, deep blue eyes and olive skin ran over to him. She wore a white sparkling dress. As if it was made from parts of the moon.
' Help me! Help me,James! Our people need your help!' she cried.
James looked into her eyes and as if he was entranced, whispered, ' Yes.'
Suddenly, trees started growing around him, bright, brilliant, green trees. Palms, ferns. It was like he was in a jungle. No! He was in a jungle. James looked down at his feet, he was wearing pale brown coloured safari clothes. He was on safari. But he couldn't be. The girl, she was still with him. She was sanding right next to him.
' Come,' she said,' Follow me.'
Read the next episode to find out if James follows the girl, or if he stays where he stands.........
