Title: Watching from a Distance
What would you say to me,
If I told you I loved you,
A complete stranger,
What would you do?
Would you say that I'm crazy?
Or astoundly confused,
Or dare I even think,
You'd say I love you too,
But what if you knew me,
But never gave a thought,
To the fact that I like boys,
Though I'm not widely sought,
What if you talked to me,
Every single day,
And I hid my crush,
What would you say?
What if YOU like me,
And share my same fear,
That others would laugh,
If they could hear,
What if I find out,
In two years~ that we shared,
True love from first sight,
But both honestly scared,
You so popular; scared to be shunned,
Me so not; what would have happened,
My friends tell me to ask you out,
But what if you laugh at me?
My parents would flip,
But your beautiful eyes...they're all I see,
I don't know if I dare,
My heart screams in fear,
Oh *****, what's to do,
I wish you were here,
I guess it must be,
The way that it is,
I watch from a distance,
My eyes watch his,
Maybe someday in the future,
Popularity'll lose its controll,
Save ailing lovesick teenagers,
Before crushes have taken their toll,
