Title: Life, What Life?

One day, I went for a walk,
A hike in the mountains rather.
As i was hiking,
I saw a beautiful waterfall.

Walking closer to the waterfall,
I notice a beautiful girl.
Just sitting there,
Sitting and crying.

I asked her why she was crying,
And this was her reply,
'No one cares about life anymore,
Everyone gets emotionally attatched.'

'To what?' I asked her.
'Anything with no sentimental value.
Silly things like cups and plates,
To things like bikes and weights.'

'No one values time anymore,
People work like life's a chore.
Just to get money and buy things,
And become emotionally attatched to everything'

I looked back to think,
Maybe she was right,
I really do care about my bike,
I have a job just to buy things.

I turned back to look at her,
To tell her she was right,
But she vanished, disappeared.
Then i sat down, sitting and crying,
