What is an American?
What does it mean to say,
I'm proud to be an American,
I hold my head high every day,
What does it mean to be united,
As a people, a country of one,
Is it merely a generalization,
That the battle has hardly begun,
I believe it's a signal,
So the diverse will become one,
All religions gathered together,
With their problems on the run,
It's the beginning of a trend,
That I hope will spread world-wide,
It's the beginning of the end,
A new start for man kind,
