Title: Compromise
Sometimes things need to be broken,
Before they can begin to be fixed,
The agony of this is unspoken,
As my heart continues to be ripped,
Friendship is broken,
But if you have strength,
To repair it,
It will be longer in length,
But if your friend's forgiveness,
Is locked within his heart,
And he is too angry at you,
It may be time to part,
And your head aches,
Because you've always been told,
To tell the truth always,
To try to be bold,
But did I know,
That he hurt too,
I wasn't alone,
I knew...
That if I have the strength,
To stand up for the truth,
And he has the strenghth,
To forgive me... we will be friends again, and better ones too,
