Title: them

White, black, what’s the difference?
We've all got a heart, and we share existence,
So what’s the problem? Smell the fresh air, open your mind, and learn to care,
So we may be different colors, and live different ways, but ask yourself, why be racist?
Be united, trouble free, isn’t that part of being an American? That’s what it means to me,
Freedom is a gift, it needs to be shared, open it to the world out there,
Don’t be humble open your heart, share it with others, don’t let I fall apart,
Your life is a gift it was given to you, like any other human, they have one too,
When we go our own ways, it leaves us with one path, for the other is taken, you do the math,

P.S. I wrote this poem to express my feelings. In the world today, as a white I feel that Blacks are not respected.

A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
