Title: Death
Why is there fear in the word,
That means you will be no more,
Why is death a horrible thing,
The worst punishment to be heard,
Why does it strike fear in my heart,
When wiping my feet at death's door,
Does my past flash before my eyes?
Or does death just kind of happen?
Death is a forbidden word,
Tabooed by society,
You must be naive,
If you honestly believe that,
Is death a natural thing,
That happens to everyone?
Or is it something so shocking,
That makes it a rare process,
But what would happen if there was no death,
Your great great... grandmother was still here,
Do you think she might be in pain,
Wishing that death was near?
Is death an escape for some people,
To forget everyone and thing,
Is it sometimes necessary,
For justice to faintly ring?
What happens after death,
Depends on what you believe,
Do you believe that God above,
Will let the angels sing?
Do you believe that if you are bad,
That you'll go to hell and suffer,
Does anyone honestly deserve that fate,
Or are those sins just human error?
It's not a thing to fear,
Because it's inevitable,
You can't lock yourself up,
And refuse to believe it will happen,
But if you spend your time,
Biding the slipping seconds,
Not enjoying your life,
You mine as well be dead,
