Title: Horesback Riding Lessons
Chapter 1
It was a sunny day out and my mom and I were outside watching the hores inour back yard. I said, 'Can I take horesback riding lessons?' Well, you can guess what my mom answered, yes! The next day we walked over to the Sobeleski's and asked how much it was to take lessons. It was $25.00 per person per lesson but we were willing to pay.
My first lesson was the most boring but even so I learned to love it. My trainer taught my borther and I how to pick the horse's feet which doesn't mean to actually pick them but to clean them and it really is a bit complicated. Then we brushed the horse and learned how to saddle it. At first I used a western sattle but as I got better I used an english saddle.
The second lesson we got to do more with riding than hte first lesson. We learned how to steer and turn and backup. Heather, my trainer, set up toys and we had to manuver the horses around them. Another thign that we learned was how to bridle the horse and how to dismount. After that lesson we just practiced adn learned soem new things like posting. It was a lot of fun!
Now I don't take lessons anymore because my trainer quit but I look forward to maybe taking lessons somewhere else. My cousins took lessons and know a great place Another story by ME will be out shortly
