Title: The Magical Stick
A king visited this one hotel. While he was there, someone stole a mistress's ring. Six people were caught in the scene of the crime. So he took those six people and took them in a room. He gave each of them a magical stick and said, 'These sticks are magical. If you are the thief, it will grow two inches overnight.'
And so, they all went to sleep. The next day, he took all six people into the same room, and measured the sticks. Surprisingly, all of the sticks were the same legnth, except for this one woman's stick. Immediatley, the king arrested this woman, and she confessed that she had stolen the ring. The other five people were confused, because the king had said that the person with the longest stick was the thief. How did the king know who the thief was?
