Title: Rupa the Elephant
One sunny day, Rupa the elephant, and Chinchi the little brown bird, were going to the village to see if the children wanted a ride on Rupa's back. When they got to the village, the children were nowhere to be seen. Rupa asked one of the mothers where the children had gone. She told Rupa that they had gone into the jungle to play, but she was starting to get worried, as they had been gone a long time. Rupa and Chinchi said that they would help, and set off to look for the children.
Rupa and Chinchi entered the jungle, and began to search for the children, but after a while they still could not find them, so Chinchi decided to fly on ahead and see if he could find the children. As Chinchi was flying around, he spotted the children up a tree. Chinchi flew down to the children, who told him that they had climbed the tree after spotting a lion, but they were too scared to climb down, so they were stuck. Chinchi told them he would go and get help, so he flew off to find Rupa.
Rupa had been waiting for Chinchi to return with any news, so when Chinchi told her he had found the children, they both set off to rescue them. When they got to the tree, Rupa raised her trunk, and told the children to slide down her trunk to safety. When all the children were down from the tree, Rupa let them ride on her back, until they got to the village, where their worried mum's had been waiting for their return. The mothers thanked Rupa and Chinchi for finding the children, and the children gave Rupa a kiss, and called her a hero for rescuing them.
