The Evil Castle
Once upon a time there was a knight. His name was Garet. He got tired of tournaments and went out on a quest. He met another knight named Kale who was battling an ogre. Garet helped him and Kale joined him on his quest. They battled many foes, but they beat them all. Then they found a large castle. It was old and crumbly. They thought they heard cries so they went in. There were bodies of knights and goblins on the floor. It had been a goblin castle. Lots of knights had tried to destroy it, but no one did. The goblin lord still lived there. As they were walking down the hall, they saw a group of goblins. They killed four and captured one. The one told Garet and Kale that there were other knights captured and held in the dungeon, but a centaur guarded them. They decided to save the knights because they needed them to beat the goblin army. When they went to the dungeon, they saw that the centaur was sleeping. They tiptoed over to the centaur and took the keys. When they were unlocking the knights, the centaur woke up and attacked with his huge axe. Garet turned around just in time and cleaved the centaur in two. He fell down. Then they unlocked the knights. After they got the knights’ swords and armor, they set out to attack the goblin lord and his army. They found the army outside the castle and attacked. It was a very hard battle and many knights and goblins died. At the end, only three knights remained, including Garet and Kale, and they killed the goblin lord. They took his head to the King. They were made lords and became famous, but they said that they could not have accomplished their task without the lord.
