Title: Glad I'm Not an Actress
Poeple say that being an actor or actress is very glamorous, and I'm sure it is. But not all the time. People may also say that they're always dressed up and have the best clothes, but I'm sure there are plenty of times when they hang around the house in their sweats, just like we do.
Of course, being on the 'silver screen' must be very exciting. But as a child, you wouldn't be able to go to school like a normal kid; you'd have to have a tutor. So you wouldn't have a normal school in which to make friends. You couldn't go out in public without making a fuss because everyone would want to get near you, get your autograph, etc. So you couldn't just stroll down to DQ and get a Blizzard.
For another thing, if you were one of the stars, and/or had a big important role, you'd probably be worked to death day and night, though there are laws about how long a child can work. Being an adult, though, there aren't really laws like that. You'd probably get very tired.
There are a lot of other things, pros and cons, to be taken into consideration. So before you jump into an acting career, think. As for me, I think I'll go down to DQ and get a shake- WITHOUT making a fuss. I'm glad I'm not an actress!
