Title: The Powers that be: Part one
Samathios Shearé ran impatiently through the blinding storm to reach Stephos's house. She banged the door violently, her breathing was shallow and quick, the shadow was approaching! She smashed the door again. Searching for the stalker, she glimpsed upon her arch nemisis André Chatré, he was all in black and was viciously and coherantly grinning at her. She sensed a strange movement once again and banged against the door as if her life depended on it. The door bursted open with the towering Stephos looking down at her, she ran in, saturated, and sat down, her breathing still shallow. Just before the door slammed shut, a raspy voice sneered, 'I failed this time, I shall not fail again!'
'What happened?' questioned Stephos although he already knew what strange events had occured yet hoped that his thoughts and predictions were wrong. He had feared for this time to come. Samathios shivered and shuddered, she was still hyper-ventilating and scared.
'I was lucky this time, but what about the next time?' She wondered. Samathios faked a smile in reply as her tongue and lips were too cold to speak.
Stephos sat beside her and comforted her. 'The time has come, what I have feared has been resurrected and taken a powerful form,' Stephos whispered to himself. Samathios's pupils started to dilate as a strange sensation surged through her body. She knew what was happening, the power of her ancestors, who had sealed the evils of the past were collecting inside. She then thought that the powers may have already been inside yet needed an event to surface. She knew she must fight the powers of Rae.
