Title: The Powers that be: part two
Stephos took out a mystical glowing crystal that started to split before his eyes. One half of the crystal started to glow a dangerous red; the other whizzed and whirred abnormally.
“Here is the crystal of Osir,” Stephos stated. “It has ultimate powers and can not be held by one with an evil heart as it will disappear as soon as one with an evil heart clutches it. See how it has split into a frenzy, it means that evil is close and strong.” Samathios stared at the crystal and then curiously probed it with her middle finger. Her once pale finger glowed a bright yellow light, Samathios stood up in amazement and shock. “Do not be alarmed, it has only shown me that you are one of the five people who will help in the sealing of the evil that has been released. Only two of the five have been revealed, you and I. The other identities are unknown and shrouded until the crystal decides to show them.”
Samathios opened her rucksack and pulled out a stone. The stone was shaped like one fifth of a circle and on it was some ancient writing. “My parents gave me this when I was twelve,” Samathios told Stephos.
“Interesting,” Stephos pondered. “It is part of the Spirit Crest that was hidden in the Spirit temple. The ancient protectors of the crests guarded each temple with magical spells and mystic traps. They scattered each crest into five pieces. Only those who descended from those who created the temples are blessed with the powers and talents to conquer the evil that has awoken. They can do this by collecting the whole crest of their temple to bring up the full powers of their ancestors. When all five good crests are collected then the evil will be banished in an awesome fight, and the Shadow Crest, that was solely created for evil purposes, will be destroyed. I have four pieces of my crest, the Crest of Science and Wisdom.” Stephos pulled out a stone that looked like a circle with a fifth missing, it had words in different languages and figures dotted about it. “The last piece of this puzzle is in the Science and Wisdom temple, it is well guarded. We shall teleport there in the morning” Stephos commanded.
