Title: Revenge or Justice?
I wonder all the time,
Where our hearts have gone,
When trouble's at its prime,
Where our sympathy's drawn,
As a country we can't seem,
To care about any other,
The problem's becoming extreme,
We should care for one another,
But we are so involved,
Toying with our missels and guns,
Our sympathy has dissolved,
We are all God's daughters and sons!
We play with our deadly toys,
As if the victims will not die,
We are deaf from the desperate noise,
As our consciences continue to deny,
The fact that we are killing those,
Who are humans exactly like us,
But this is the path we chose,
The path that no one trusts,
We fell apart on the eleventh of September,
And declaired that we will pay them back,
But we apparently do not remember,
That revenge isn't the right track,
Are we trying to bring around justice,
To those who have hurt so many,
But my faith in this is less,
Revenge is the thought of many,
We say that we will let the law,
Take care of these shameful villians,
This cake is still half raw,
These villians are also humans!
We claim that we are humane,
And treat others in this way,
Do they deserve death or pain,
We will decide this someday,
For now we all must know,
That everyone is a human,
Wether above or below,
Rethink our choices again,
Because we are more powerful,
We have the responsibility,
To be thoughtful and careful,
To people besides you and me,
