Title: Upside-down (part 2)
. “Who, who, who are you?” she asked.
“I should be asking you that. This is my room.” Tonya said.
“Your room?” The girl questioned. “That’s why it looks so different.”
“What do you mean by ‘different’?” Tonya asked. “And who are you?”
“I’m Allison. And by ‘different’ I mean I used to live here, and then we, well, sort of went away.”
“I’m Tonya. What do you mean you ‘sort of went away’ and why are you back?”
Allison looked shocked all of a sudden.
“What did I say?” asked Tonya.
“Nothing,” Allison said, stilling looking wide-eyed at Tonya. “It’s just that, well, you can see me.”
“Of course I can see you. You’re a girl and girls are human. Humans can be seen.” Tonya said.
“Well,” Allison said taking a big breath, “ In 1975 my dad finished building this house. I was six then. We moved in and lived there for six years. Then, well, I’ve never told anyone this but, well, I can’t tell you I have to show you.”
Allison jumped onto Tonya’s window seat and opened the window. “Take my hand,” Allison whispered.
Tonya slowly gave Allison her hand. Allison jumped out of the window, taking Tonya with her. Tonya was so scared she forgot to scream. Her grip on Allison’s hand got tighter and she shut her eyes real tight.
“You can open your eyes.” Allison said calmly. Tonya slowly opened her eyes. She gasped.
“We’re flying! We’re actually flying!” Tonya yelled in order to be heard over the winds that played with their hair. “I know your secret! You’re a vampire, or a witch.”
“No,” Allison sighed loudly. “My only powers are to fly, go through walls, and move things with my mind.”
“So you mean…” Tonya started to ask, but stopped when she saw Allison’s face. Allison didn’t seen to be too happy about the fact that she was a…
“Yes, I am a ghost,” Allison said.
