' It's all right for you,' J.C. said. ' You're the only one You-Know-Foo... oh, all right, Macintosh was ever afraid of.
' You flatter me,' Editor said calmly. ' Macintosh has powers I will never posses.'
' Only because your hardrive can't take any more RAM additions.'
' I'm luck it's dark. I haven't blushed so much since Madame Nikki told me she liked my new earmuffs.'
' And I suppose...' C. said slowly. ' I suppose the... other rumors are true.' This was obviously the reason why he had been sitting as a dog all day.
Editor Doredumble sighed. ' Yes. It is true.'
J.C. gasped. ' Oh, Editor! Jily and Lames? I can't believe? How on Earth...?' But suddenly, his eyes narrowed. ' And is the final rumor true? What they're saying that finally stopped him? They're saying it was the Nijak boy. They're saying that Macintosh tried to kill him... and that they couldn't.' Editor nodded grimly. ' Amazing,' J.C. hissed. ' After all these years. Macintosh has killed hundreds of wizards and witches... and he was finally stopped by a boy. Speaking of which, where is he?' He eyed Doredumble's cloak with suspeseion.
' Hagreed is brining him.'
' Are you sure it is wise to trust Hagreed with something as important as this?'
' I would trust Hagreed with my life.'
' I know his heart is in the right place, but... what is that?'
Out of the dark night sky, music was blaring. Also, out of that same night sky, a huge Harley Davidson slammed to the ground.
If the bike was big, it was nothing to the man riding it. He was twice the size of Editor Doredumble. When he pulled off his helmet, it revealed wild hair. His arms bulged with muscles.
Hagreed reached over and turned off the CD player, which had been playing ' Born to be Wild.' He appeared to be cradling something in his arms.
' Yo, Proffesor Doredumble and J.C!'
' Good evening, Hagreed,' Editor said quietly. ' Did you bring him?'
' Yup. He fell asleep as he was flying over Kidsarepoetstoo.' The object he was cradling turned out to be a boy. A boy with an exlamation point scar...
