Title: Upside-down (part 11)

“Well,” Allison thought. She hugged her knees and started to rock back and forth. “Isn’t it cold out here?” she asked trying to stall. Tonya only nodded her head. To Tonya cold was when ghosts were around. You know, the chill of sudden death. Other than that she was always warm.
“Okay, I’m not that good at stalling. I’ll just tell you.” Tonya nodded impatiently.
Allison cleared her throat and spoke just loud enough for Tonya to hear, but quiet enough that no one else could hear. (Just in case Amber was watching.)
“I went to your house because I knew Amber had been there. I’ve been after her for a very long time. Once I banish her I won’t be a ghost any longer. I’m not quite sure what will happen to me. It’s just that when I made it to your house I had used up so much energy that I couldn’t banish her. That takes up a lot of energy, you know.” Allison took another breath. “My only guess of why Amber wanted to act like me is because she could have planned to banish me before I could banish her. She wanted to get information on me. she didn’t want you getting suspicious, I guess.”
“It makes sense to me.” Tonya said. Then she looked up. “Look out!” Tonya yelled at the top of her lungs. Tonya lunged over and pushed Allison face first into the blimp.
“What the…” Allison said glancing up.
“Allison! Jump!” Tonya screamed as she slid off the blimp.
Allison realized what had happened. Amber had appeared and tried to push them both off the blimp. Allison jumped off the blimp escape, not to mention catch Tonya.
Allison caught Tonya in mid-fall and carried her back to her window sill. Then she took off again heading toward where she had last saw Amber.
“Wait! Allison! The window! I can’t get the window open!” Tonya shouted. The window opened and Tonya climbed inside. “Good old mental powers,” she said, shutting the window and glancing back out from her window seat.
From where she was sitting she could only see the blimp. She knew that Allison and Amber were behind it somewhere.
“I wish I could see what they were doing,” Tonya thought reluctantly. “Not that I could do anything to help.”
