Title: Upside-down (part 15)

“Hi! I’m Tonya, your new neighbor. I live across the street.” Tonya said pointing to her house.
“Come on in. I’m Mrs. Malone. You know, I have two daughters who are about your age. They’re in the basement.” She showed Tonya into the basement.
As Tonya got closer, the music got louder. Tonya was so excited that she skipped the last four steps. The two girls were dancing and singing with their backs turned to Tonya.
“Could this be them? It looks like it. Did that lady say she was Mrs. Malone? Wait Allison and Amber aren’t sisters.” All Tonya’s thoughts were jumbled.
One of the girls turned around and stopped dancing. “You must be our new neighbor,” she said.
The other girl stopped too. She turned off the music and looked at Tonya.
“Aren’t you…” She started to ask then stopped.
