Title: Upside-down (part 16)
She jumped up and down. “It’s really her! I thought I’d never see her again!”
Now both girls started jumping. “You remember us, right? We look only a little different, don’t we?”
Tonya was even more excited. “Allison! Amber! You’re here! Alive! Ohmygosh!” Tonya went up and hugged one of them.
“They look like twins! How did Allison do it?” thought Tonya. “Allison?” Tonya asked looking at the girl she just hugged.
“She can even tell us apart!” Allison said jumping up and down.
“So how’d you do it?” Tonya asked.
“Easy,” answered Allison, “but it surprised me. That spell I cast, was meant to send whoever it hit back where they came from. You were asleep when it happened but the spell hit all three of us. You, I assume, were sent back to your house. Amber and I on the other hand were sent back to birth. Then we were reborn as twins. Once that happened twelve years seemed to go by like this.” Allison snapped her fingers.
Amber finished the story. “It was like living through a time machine trip. Allison and I persuaded our parents to buy this house, hoping you still lived across the street. And here you are! We don’t have any powers any more because what happened occurred in our past lives. We remembered our past lives because we were dead at the time, in a way. Any other questions?”
“One.” Tonya answered. “Can you play that song again? It brings back memories and we can make new ones.”
Allison turned on the music and the three of them started singing and dancing. “Upside-down” by A* teens was now their favorite song.
So diary it turns out that there is such thing as ghosts. And I have proof.
Tonya glued a picture of her and Allison and Amber on the opposite page of her diary.
That’s the end of my story so far. But, there are still adventures to come. I’ll write more later.
Love, Tonya
