Title: My Rune Spell
A few months ago, I was having some trouble with feeling depressed. I cried over the tiniest fight or issue, and it seemed like the world was against me. I decided to do a Rune spell to help me look on the bright side of things. On a blank piece of white construction paper, I drew my Runes of choice in their appropriate colors. I drew a Rune for love, so that I could be aided in seeing how much I really am loved. The Rune for comfort, to help me feel comfortable with the way that I look and act. The Rune for healing, so I could heal from the incidents and thoughts that had hurt me, and a few other Runes. After I was done drawing my positive, goal Runes, I drew the negative symbols that had affected me. I drew one for bane and a few others. Then I prepared the room for ritual and set my altar. I burned patchouli incense. After everything was ready, I put the piece of paper on the altar. I took the bright red marker that I had layed out and drew a circle around both the positive goals and my negative feelings. I then crossed out and scribbled out the negatives and visualised them leaving my thoughts. Since then, I have not had any problems with negative thoughts about my body, nor have I overreacted to any situations. I look on the positive side of everything. I'm back to my normal, calm self. That was a spell that I created. I did not, however, create the Runes.
