Title: Locked up in the cool of my heart

You keep me locked up
as though I were a tiger
innocent
beautiful
to behold
yet a
deadly weapon

My jailer
The standards for living
My key
My emotions and thoughts
Who condemned
me is you all
what you sent me for
my words

my words
cold cruel amoral
the words that I
worship
the words that I
write
are my cause for my dwelling
in this
dark dank
dreary dungeon

my emotions
my topic of writing
the words are the ones
that I choose
for
my thoughts
the basic structure
of my every work

my sanity level's quite dropping
cause in this cold cell
I am
Yet I wish for no escape
For this cell
Is all I have
It's my own
It's me
