Title: Soccer

Soccer is my sport.
Soccer is what I play on weekends.
Soccer is what I practice.
Gameday comes.
I see my parents in the stands.
I can smell the concession food.
Referees blow their whistles,
And all the players are on the field.
I can taste the salty sweat slipping slightly down my face.
I am as nervous as a person getting a shot,
In the arm.
Pow!
I kick the ball hard into the goal!
The game is over.
We win!
We run back to our coach.
He says good game and we leave.
But when I get home,
I start practicing...
For the next game.

Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
